When and where is the 2026 Gathering?
The third Production Designers Gathering will take place between October 16 (arrival) and October 20 (departure), 2026 on the island of Spetses, Greece.
Guests will depart from Athens on Friday afternoon, October 16. Workshops will take place over the weekend and Monday, and guests are expected to depart on Tuesday morning, October 20.
It’s advisable to arrive in Athens on October 16 in the morning. Some guests prefer to arrive the night before. The boat to Spetses departs at 2pm on October 16.

Attendance at the Production Designers Gathering is open to production designers and members of the Production Designers Collective (PDC). We are also welcoming 20 students through a dedicated application and lottery process.

Registration is now open for eligible attendees. Student applications will open on September 1, 2026, and will remain open through September 12, 2026.
20 student spots will be allocated through a lottery. Selected students will receive an acceptance email with a dedicated registration link on September 14. The registration link will be valid for 48 hours.

Do you offer discounted accommodations?
Yes, we do! When filling out the registration form, guests will be offered discounted rates at selected hotels on the island. However, the event's registration does not include accommodations, and the organizers carry no responsibility in that area.

Can my partner join?
Due to limited capacity on the island, we offer a small number of companion tickets. Companion tickets include transportation to/from Spetses, reception and dinner invitations. Please email us to inquire.

What if I cannot stay the whole time?
Our hospitality team will be happy to advise on special transportation requests. Please get in touch below.

What if my plans change and I can no longer attend?
We all work in the entertainment industry, and so we understand the difficulty of committing to any future plans. Luckily, you can cancel your registration and receive a full refund until September 1st, 2026 (minus an administration fees of €50). After that date, no refunds will be given.

Can I transfer my registration to a colleague if I can no longer attend?

We understand that participating in the Gathering can be a financial burden, especially in this current climate. While we do not offer financial assistance, we are happy to provide invitation letters in support of members applying for local grants.
